Ann Arbor is booming with creativity all summer with the Ann Arbor Art Fair and Ann Arbor Summer Festival (A2SF) rolling into town.
These two summer staples have been adding pops of color and a whole lot of soul to the community for decades with no plans of slowing down.
The Ann Arbor Art Fair, July 20–22, spans 30 city blocks and draws close to half a million people over the course of three days. You’ll find artwork and crafts from a vast array of talented vendors. It is the largest juried art fair in the nation.
Parking for the event is free with a shuttle ready to transport you from the parking lot to the event for just $8. Or you can utilize the Art-Go-Round, a free, autonomous vehicle to ride around town.
From June 9-25, the A2SF helps the city come alive with distinct sounds from well-known artists and indie acts that pair perfectly with intriguing outdoor installations.
Headliners for this year’s A2SF are:
Renée Elise Goldsberry: June 15
Reggie Watts: June 16
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit with Peter One: June 25
