We've prioritized safety all along, and that won't change. Currently, no PCR test is needed to enter the country, and travel insurance is not required for those who are vaccinated. Travelers who are not vaccinated will be required to purchase insurance. Starting March 8, 2022, travelers will be required to show proof of vaccination status by means of a QR code through a health pass or printed certificate for admittance to services such as hotels, restaurants, bars, casinos, shops and more. View our entry requirements to stay up to date on everything you need to know to travel to Costa Rica, including where you can find the nearest PCR-approved testing facility before returning home.
