American Airlines Adds Daily Nonstop Flights From Miami Starting in April 
Access to the Caribbean paradise of Dominica is getting even easier this spring! American Airlines announced that it is expanding its service to Dominica from Miami International Airport to include daily flights effective April 5, 2022. This extended schedule immediately follows the January expansion offering flights two to three times weekly. This increased service will provide easier access to Dominica for North American travelers, particularly those based on the East Coast.

Entry Requirements for Travelers from the U.S.
As of February 24, 2022, visitors traveling to Dominica must complete an online health questionnaire prior to arrival. In addition to the health questionnaire, fully vaccinated travelers are required to upload either a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival or a negative antigen test taken within 48 hours prior to arrival. Self-administered tests are not accepted. Unvaccinated travelers are required to take a Rapid Antigen test upon arrival and proceed to a Safe in Nature certified property for at least five days.

New Logo
Discover Dominica Authority officially announced the launch of its new destination logo, which aims to create a more unique brand identity for the destination. The logo pulls its inspiration from the various aspects of Dominica: The letters are meant to depict the topography of the Morne Trois Pitons, while the various greens give nod to Dominica’s lush flora and fauna. Even the purple accent color is inspired by the endemic Sisserou Parrot, and the red represents Dominica’s creole culture.
