Facebook Launches Searchable Transparency Library of All Active Ads: Now you can search Facebook to see how much money a Page has spent on ads in the past year, which Pages' ads reference specific topics or what a Page's previous names were. The new feature makes good on Facebook's promise to increase transparency after the social network's ads were used to try to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential elections. |

Facebook's Making it Easier to Quickly React to Posts: As part of its ongoing effort to maximize user engagement, Facebook has added a simple new option which enables users to React to a posted photo or video more quickly. The new option enables users to tap and hold on a video or photo to bring up the Reactions bar, from there, you choose the Reaction you want, and apply it, quick and easy, or add a comment. |

Pinterest Adds a Series of New Updates to Make the App More of a Shopping Destination: Retailers can now add their entire catalog to Pinterest to create Product Pins as well as make shopping ads available through the self-serve ads manager tool. Users will start to see personalized items based on what they're saving, shopping results at the top of a search page and a new section for retailers showcasing even more items from brands. In other words, Pinterest is becoming even more of a shopping destination. |
