Founder Jack Dorsey admitted at a Twitter event that he was not a fan of the heart-shaped button and that it would be getting rid of it "soon". Twitter's potential removal of the like button forms part of an effort to create a healthier climate of debate on the platform by putting more of an emphasis on replies, as opposed to passive likes.

Pinterest just launched a new feature allowing users to claim their Instagram account on Pinterest, giving users attribution on Pins that originate from their Instagram accounts even if someone else did the pinning! Additionally, claiming an Instagram account will give users more robust native analytics on the platform, allowing brands to better track how content is performing. The end goal of this update is to hopefully help users drive more web traffic to their sites from the Pinterest platform.
