After launching its archive and highlights options for Instagram Stories last year, parent company Facebook has since rolled out a similar archive tool for Facebook Stories, and now Facebook Story highlights. The new option provides another way to re-use your Facebook Stories content, showcasing the best of your Stories.
instagram Instagram Tests a New Recommendations Feature to Boost Content Discovery:
Instagram aims to revamp its content discovery process by highlighting posts from accounts similar to those you follow and interact with directly in the main feed. The recommended posts will appear at the end of your feed once you reach the end of new content from accounts you follow.
twitter Twitter Implements New API Restrictions, Which May See Changes to Your Favorite Twitter Apps:
As Twitter moves to tighten control over the way its data is used, various third-party tools will lose some of their functionality, most notably TweetBot. Twitter has explained the changes by noting that they would prefer to offer such tools through their owned platforms, through which they maintain full control.

The new element within the platform's sharing algorithm, called PinSage, uses contextual information from surrounding Pins to provide more accurate recommendations for additional matches, as opposed to using just the image or keywords to highlight such.
snapchat You Can Now Send Musical GIFs to Snapchat:
Users can now post musical GIFs to a chat or to their own Story, thanks to an integration with third-party service TuneMoji. Snap confirmed the partnership to Business Insider. You will need to have both TuneMoji and Snapchat downloaded in order to send musical GIFs, but it's comparatively straightforward.
snapchat Snapchat Continues Its Surge Among U.S. Teens, While Facebook Free Falls:
eMarketer's latest study projects a rise in Snapchat and a fall in Facebook use among U.S. teens in the coming years. Snapchat is expected to add 1.2 million new teen users by 2022, while Facebook is expected to lose 2.2 million. Snapchat has also maintained its lead over Instagram, with 16.4 million users between the ages of 12 and 17. Facebook still dominates usage among older generations, including millennials.
