The company said it is shortening the time frame for how it filters out repeat impressions to align with how it measures paid impressions. However, this change in measurement will not affect distribution.
Facebook Facebook Expands Search Ads Availability, Adds Search Results to Automatic Placements:
Facebook is now making search ads available to all businesses, while it's also adding search ads to its Automatic Placements option.
Facebook Responsive Ads come to Facebook with Multiple Text Optimization:
The new feature, dubbed Multiple Text Optimization, allows advertisers to create several versions of headlines, ad copy and descriptions for a single-media ads. Facebook's ad system then dynamically serves up the combination it determines will deliver the best results.
Instagram Instagram Adds Branded Content Tags for IGTV:
While Branded Content Tags are still not available to all users, for those that can access them, they are now also being expanded to longer form IGTV content.
Instagram Instagram Will Begin Hiding Total Like Counts for US Users:
This will not affect the entire US at once, as with most Instagram updates, but will be rolled out gradually. Users will still be able to tap on the 'and others' notification beneath any post and see a full list of people who've liked it, and you can still view total like counts for your own content.
