Facebook has announced a range of updates for its business tools on Messenger, adding in new lead generation automation options and appointment booking options in-stream.
Twitter Twitter Discusses Coming Features:
As Twitter continues to roll out new tweaks and updates designed to boost usage, the platform is also looking at some larger-scale initiatives for the platform. Future updates include searchable DMs, topic-based streams, which would enable users to easily find and view content related to a specific subject, as well as support for iPhone Live Photos.
Twitter Twitter Tests Letting Users Follow Topics:
Twitter will begin allowing users to follow interests, letting users see tweets about topics of their choosing inside the timeline.
Instagram Instagram May Allow Creators to Syndicate IGTV Videos to Facebook:
Facebook is prototyping a means of syndicating Instagram's IGTV video to Facebook's video site, Facebook Watch. This move could prompt more video creators to use IGTV, given that it would boost their videos' distribution by also including Facebook as a destination for their content.
Pinterest Pinterest Launches New Mobile Ad Tool:
Pinterest is launching a new tool to allow advertisers to create Pin ad campaigns from their mobile devices, streamlining the mobile process. This new self-serve tool is one of many launched by Pinterest this year as a part of their Mobile Ad Tools, allowing businesses of all sizes to more efficiently launch campaigns.
