Facebook Welcomes GIPHY as Part of Instagram Team: GIPHY has been acquired by Facebook as part of the Instagram team. They plan to further integrate the GIF library into Instagram and Facebook's other apps.

Instagram Announces Next Stage of IGTV Monetization, New Revenue Options for Instagram Live: Instagram has announced the next stage of monetization for IGTV, while it's also adding new digital 'badges' for IG Live, which will enable viewers to donate money to their favorite broadcasters.
Instagram Officially Launches Option to Share Instagram Live Broadcasts to IGTV:  Instagram announced that all users can now save the video of their Instagram Live broadcast to IGTV, and keep it available for viewing for as long as they choose.

Twitter's Making it Easier to Add Alt-Text Descriptions to Uploaded Images:  Twitter's making it easier for users to add text descriptions to their uploaded images, with a dedicated '+ALT' button displayed on the image itself.
Twitter Rolls Out Native Scheduling Within the Tweet Composer Window on Desktop:  After testing it out for close to a year, Twitter has announced that it's bringing native tweet scheduling and the capacity to save tweet drafts to its desktop app.

TikTok Changes Rules on Music Usage by Businesses:
TikTok has announced a change to its music licensing, which means that commercial entities can no longer use popular tracks in their clips. The app is launching a new, royalty-free 'Commercial Music Library' of sounds that are available for businesses.
