Dear friends, We are living in an unprecedented time that will have a profound impact on every aspect of our lives. While COVID-19 has brought many challenges, it has also brought out the best of society – one that has displayed a tremendous amount of empathy, kindness, love and a feeling of responsibility for the health and safety of one another. There are not enough words to express our appreciation for the healthcare workers, local communities, and government agencies – not only in Los Cabos but around the world – who are on the front line working to contain this pandemic. During this time, Los Cabos implemented special containment protocols to ensure everyone’s health and safety remain our top priority. Over the past several weeks, we have been working alongside hospitals, airports, ports, hotels, and travel partners to share resources and maintain regular communication across the destination. These efforts include the expansion of telemedicine, special training to hospitals, and, if necessary, the adaptation of venues to expand hospital capacity outside traditional hospitals. As people are revising travel plans and weathering social distancing, we understand that travel is not top of mind at this time. You are likely aware that we decided to suspend all travel activities within Los Cabos. But we do believe in the power of travel that inspires hope, even in uncertain times. We are hearing so many stories of people escaping albeit virtually, to activate their wanderlust and we invite you all to join us in sharing uplifting content across your digital channels. Whether it be a photo of your favorite iconic landscape or a delicious meal shared with loved ones, keeping our industry connected is so important. This isn’t the first challenge the travel industry has needed to rebound from, and it is in times of adversity that the industry is at its best. The resiliency and dedication of the amazing people that provide unforgettable travel experiences for our guests is unsurmountable.
