As many of you know, the company uses financial performance from the prior year to determine the match we can provide against 401k contributions. Pre-COVID, we matched up to $3k per person annually and we also made a small contribution of up to $1k per person for 2020 last spring. 2021 was a very strong year for MMGY and we've increased our match to a historic high, matching 4% of eligible comp (up to $4,000) per participant! This match should appear in your 401k account in the next few weeks and will end our process of matching after each "year end".
Starting in 2022, MMGY is matching your 401k contributions each payroll and the 2022 formula has increased to 4% of eligible comp (up to $6,000) per participant. Check your online statement and you'll see contributions from the first 3 payrolls already.
