ALL GLOBAL Employees:
The performance review cycle opened last Monday for all global employees in Engagedly, with all self-evaluations due Monday, January 31. See key dates below for further details.
- January 17–January 31: Employees complete self-evaluations
- January 17–February 28: Managers complete employee performance reviews in Engagedly system
- March 1–27: Managers deliver performance reviews to employees virtually or in person
- April 28, 2022: Employee S.M.A.R.T goals for 2022 must be entered into the Engagedly system
This year we’ve decided that all employees who started in 2021, regardless of their start dates, should complete a self-evaluation and performance review. The purpose of this is to ensure touch-base/performance conversations are being held with every employee.
Employees who started less than 3 months ago will only be evaluated on the length of time they have been with the company; this should be clearly outlined in the performance review.
Note: When requesting feedback for reviews you’ll need to use the following steps: Feedback>Request or Share Feedback setting. Do not utilize the “Invite Reviews" setting.
***For U.S. Employees ONLY: All employee merit increases must be entered into ADP by March 27 in order for the increases to take effect by the March 28 payroll cycle. Increases will appear on 4/15 paychecks and must be confirmed by managers and HR.
***For UK Employees ONLY: All employee merit increases must be confirmed with the brand MD and HR before being communicated to the employee. The new salary should then be entered into ADP by the line manager no later than March 27 in order for the increase to take effect April 1, 2022.
***For Canada Employees ONLY: All employee merit increases must be entered into ADP by March 27 in order for the increase to take effect April 1, 2022.

DEI Employee Resource Groups
In 2022, the DEIC is planning to expand our diversity, equity and inclusion efforts by establishing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), networks within the company where employees voluntarily meet up (in person or remotely) based on shared characteristics, experiences or goals. These internal communities enhance our workplace culture by encouraging opportunities to network and socialize, work on professional development, and to raise awareness and work through resolution of relevant issues.
Per our recent global employee poll, MMGY Global will initially implement the following ERGs.
- BIPOC/Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic
- LGBTQ+
- Working Parents
Deep Work Fridays (DWF) Goes "Live" in February
We want to create a schedule that ensures everybody gets weekly time to work on time-consuming projects, projects that always seem to get put off or to check lots of little things off tasks lists – time that also gives us space to discuss ideas.
Effective February 4, MMGY Global's Deep Work Fridays (DWF) pilot will officially launch! To create the opportunity for DWF to be successful, it's critical that our meetings are as productive as possible. We have provided a standard code of conduct for our meetings, protocol for meeting etiquette and best practices in our global, hybrid professional world. Every global team member is required to review the Global Meeting Expectations and Etiquette policy and acknowledge it has been reviewed in ADP by February 2, 2022.
To acknowledge this policy in ADP, please go to: ADP>Resources>Company Information>Company Policies>2022 Global Meeting Expectations & Etiquette
You can also access this policy by going to: ADP>Home>Quick Links>Company Policies>2022 Global Meeting Expectations & Etiquette
Please take the time this month to cleanse your calendar. This opportunity to evaluate all meetings, collaborate with your account/project teams and cancel those that don't add value. Also consider the frequency and length of your meetings when cleansing your schedule. You should also work to move all the meetings scheduled on Friday to another day.
