Goals: Employee goals for 2022 must be entered into the Engagedly system by April 28, 2022.

Well-thought-out, reviewed, and implemented goals are critical for the success of our employees, departments and overall organization; documenting these goals is necessary for execution and consistency. The Engagedly platform offers a seamless process to input, track and monitor these goals and overall performance – removing the cumbersome administrative work for managers.

Beginning in 2022, all employee goals should be entered into and monitored through Engagedly. Past goals, coaching conversations, alignment meetings, one-on-ones, 30-, 60- and 90-day reviews and probationary review forms can all be uploaded into the employee's profile under the “Documentation” section.

Blue KC Glossary
Any time you come across an unfamiliar term, you don’t need to wonder what it means. Blue KC encourages you to look it up. You can visit the Blue KC Glossary for definitions as well as their Frequently Asked Questions for topics ranging from billing to prescription drugs to provider selection.

Here are a few of the terms you’ll come across most often.
  • Coinsurance: This is the percentage of an allowable charge you must pay for a covered service. Generally, your deductible must be met before your coinsurance applies.
  • Copayment (Copay): If your plan has copayments, this is the amount you pay each time a certain covered service is received.
  • Covered Services: These include healthcare services, supplies, equipment and care listed in a member’s certificate or contract, with the exceptions of excluded conditions and limitations that are also identified in the certificate or contract.
  • Deductible: This is the amount that must be incurred by each member of the policy before benefits become payable by Blue KC.
  • Explanation of Benefits (EOB): This is a statement listing healthcare service(s) obtained, amount(s) paid by the plan, and the total amount that a member may owe to a provider.
