Visit KC
Shout out to Drew Woolery, Dustin Sharp, Brent Anderson, Rick Dunn, Dave Fymbo, Sarah Arnoldi, Bill Steinke, Julie Werner, Megan Conder, Noah Klein, Jessica Hollenbach and Megan Roush for their work on Visit KC leading up to the Super Bowl. The team was able to develop some truly incredible TV spots and a smart, effective media plan that tied into the Chiefs "Run It Back" campaign, all while under a tight deadline.
Even though the Chiefs didn't pull out the win, Visit KC couldn't have been more thrilled with the success of this promotion. Check out some of the footage HERE. Also, massive thanks to Carrie Gill and her family for starring in our last-minute, frigid outdoor shoot!

Visit St. Pete/Clearwater
A standing ovation for Alyssa Almeida and Eliza Williams of the Visit St. Pete/Clearwater team who promoted the host city for this year's Super Bowl game. With Alyssa on the ground in Tampa and Eliza in New York, they blanketed the media with coverage of the destination securing 900 placements equaling more than 1 billion impressions. Their most popular story about The Clearwater Aquarium's dolphin Nicholas and his sports predictions went viral with placements on CBS, Fox & Friends, GMA, CNBC and more. Even though Nick's prediction for the KC Chiefs winning was wrong, we're still glad this Florida native knows who the best team is. |

Costa Rica
The MMGY Costa Rica team had the opportunity to present to a prestigious group of Costa Rican stakeholders, including the private sector, ministry and client representatives. The team shared an overview of the Only The Essentials campaign development with a timeline on how messaging and approach have pivoted throughout 2020 and into recovery phases. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and the Costa Rica Minister of Culture commended the work saying, "I wish Costa Rican's could see in themselves what MMGY has seen in them." Huge round of applause for all who have contributed to the account. Your continued devotion to the work is so appreciated. |

Your Benefits: Floating Holidays |
Did you know that out of your 15 holidays in 2021, two are floating holidays to utilize for any nationally recognized or religious holiday of your choice?
Floating holidays can be used for any nationally recognized or religious holiday the company is not already recognizing, including those that celebrate the diversity of our shared humanity. For example, looking to have some fun on St. Patrick's Day in March? Floating holidays are the perfect lucky charm to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Or perhaps you would like to take a day off in May to recognize World Day for Cultural Diversity that shines a light on creating a more peaceful and equitable society based on mutual respect. There are so many important nationally recognized or religious holidays we can choose to learn from! Why not learn on your day off?
Check out the following link that provides a list of holidays that are deemed appropriate for floating holiday use: Calendar of Observances 2021
Deciding to take a floating holiday soon?
Make sure to submit your request to take off for a floating holiday in ADP under your time-off assignments: Floating Holidays. In addition, please enter the following code in workamajig for your well-deserved day off: 21-MMGYnon-30333-2021 Holiday Time – Task 2-Floating Holidays in Workamajig. |

The LA Culture Crew hosted a virtual Year of the Ox celebration on February 11, the day before the actual Lunar New Year. The team toasted "Gong Hey Fat Choy" to each other while learning about the holiday. We concluded the celebration with team members writing their wishes for the new year on a piece of paper and made a beautiful folding fan. |

The Exit Row Interesting + Fun + TWICE THE LEG ROOM

This month, Emalee Crosser and Amber Kuhnert traveled to Mexico to support an influencer campaign for the Los Cabos Tourism Board. The goal of the campaign was to allow the carefully selected influencers to experience the safety protocols in the destination to authentically show their audiences that they can safely come to Los Cabos for the fun vacations they've been missing. While in the destination, Emalee and Amber witnessed firsthand just how diligently the people of Los Cabos worked to bring visitors back, as tourism truly is the heartbeat of their economy. They had a wonderful trip supporting the influencers, ensuring the program ran smoothly, meeting the clients and enjoying a margarita (or two).
