The MMGY creative team came up with a new campaign concept as part of the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau RFP. The "It's a good day" idea was developed and brought to life by Joel Henning, Manda Blake, Kathleen Murray and Katie House, and the whole team was proud to include it in the proposal. Check out some of the cool campaign elements. |

Huge thanks to Greg DeShields for speaking at our World Diversity Day event last week, and thank you to everyone who participated internally. These learning moments are so much more enriching when we can hear directly from own colleagues in addition to experts. A recording of the event can be found HERE. |

NYC office (and those in town!) - save the date for Wednesday, June 9, from 5:30-7:30pm ET for a Central Park get together! The NYC Culture Crew will bring the sips and snacks and you just bring yourselves! It will be great to see everyone after so long! Don't forget your babies and doggies too. Rain date is Wednesday, June 23. |

MONTHLY BOOK CLUB |
|
The MMGY media department has started a book club that will meet monthly to discuss the book and socialize. The first book on deck is "Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI." Author, David Grann, tells the riveting story of the murders of the world's richest people per capita in the 1920s. Oil had been discovered in the Osage Indian nation in Oklahoma, but with that boon came a terrible series of deadly crimes.
The jury is still out whether the team will do more book discussion or socializing at these meetings.

Mojo Summit |
Christy Vaught, Katie Briscoe, Jessica Schultz, Danny Guerrero, Craig Compagnone and Clayton Reid were in Tampa Bay, Florida, this week hosting MMGY Global's 11th annual Mojo Summit. For those who don't know, Mojo is more than a gathering of the top minds in destination travel – it's a classroom that offers insight and education for some of the top issues facing the industry today. It's a think tank where attendees collaborate and debate ideas in travel marketing. The group discussed topics that will be critical to tourism recovery and growth – and managed to have a little fun in the Sunshine State once the sessions wrapped.
