Katie Briscoe was selected as a finalist in February for the "Women Transforming Business Award" powered by CBIZ Women’s Advantage, and we are thrilled to announce that during the virtual award ceremony on April 27, she WON!
CBIZ Women's Advantage (CWA) aims to help women succeed in business through professional training, development, mentorship, career enhancement and recognition. This particular effort recognized female leaders across the nation who are transforming their companies and respective industries, and we were so proud and excited to see Katie included in this group and, ultimately, honored as the winner. To read more about the finalists and view Katie’s acceptance speech, visit the website.

Congratulations are in order for team Amtrak (Christy Vaught, Andrea Braunstein, Brynne Henry, Natalia Colon and Chris Luckey) for planning Amtrak's 50th anniversary event, where the guest of honor was none other than President Joe Biden. The team spent months putting together a spectacular in-person/virtual hybrid event. The big moment was aired live on national news and made headlines in just about every news outlet you can think of, garnering well over a billion impressions, with Amtrak trending nationally on Twitter. Read the President's remarks here and see CNN's coverage of the event here. |

MMGY NJF was Destination Cleveland's "first pick" to gain media attention and drive visitation to the city as it hosted the 86th NFL Draft from April 29–May 1. The NFL Draft was only one of a handful of sports events to return to an in-person format since the pandemic began. Solidifying its position as a sports hub for travelers, the agency pitched stories and hosted journalists in destination to experience Cleveland first-hand to provide pre-event and mid-event coverage, with features running in InsideHook, Forbes, Bloomberg and more. We also positioned David Gilbert, President and CEO of Destination Cleveland and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, as a thought leader in the industry by putting him forward for targeted interview opportunities including Cheddar TV and Connect Sports. Kudos to the team – Alexis Whitley, Alison Watson and Matt Scotti – for a winning campaign! |

KC HAPPY HOUR |
The KC Culture Crew hosted an impromptu outdoor happy hour last week to celebrate spring and being back in the office! Sipping on drinks and catching up on life felt like "a little slice of normal," and it was a great opportunity to get to know new team members in a casual environment.
