| MMGY Global will be opening its 12th office in Detroit, Michigan, in January. Our plans are to staff 8–12 people in this office to support Pure Michigan and other Michigan business. The space we are taking is owned by Dan Gilbert, founder of Rocket Mortgage and a pioneer in Detroit and Cleveland revitalization. The Globe Building is a historic landmark, formerly a tobacco company and manufacturer. |
| We are delighted to have been selected by Travel Michigan to help them develop a Statewide Recovery Plan. This will build on the great relationship MMGY has with this leading tourism office and iconic brand! |

| The marketing technology team recently launched the Know The Feeling campaign landing page for The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel. The multimedia interactive experience includes multiple sections complete with video, a shelling carousel and sounds of the destination. |
| In October, Kansas City hosted FIFA for a site visit as part of the 2026 World Cup Bid. Visit KC, Sporting KC and the KC Sports Commission asked MMGY to help create a hype video to be shown to the selection committee and key members of the KC community (Mayor Quinton Lucas, KC Chiefs Owner Clark Hunt, etc.) during their visit to set the stage for the rest of the experiences FIFA would be encountering while in Kansas City. Shout out to Brent Anderson and Drew Woolery for knocking this video out of the park! Give the video a look! |

| In our latest Portrait of American Travelers® "Fall Edition" study, we found that 76% of U.S. leisure travelers intend to take a road trip in the next 12 months. While many might have you believe it's because of continued travel precautions in light of the pandemic, this was actually a trend the MMGY Travel Intelligence team noticed prior to the pandemic. In fact, when we look at the motivators for why someone might choose to go on a road trip, concerns around COVID-19 rank lower than those focused more on spontaneity, flexibility and affordability. |
