Wilderness Bisate Reserve
Opening September 2024

In September 2024, Wilderness Rwanda's Bisate experience near Volcanoes National Park will greatly elevate its offerings with the introduction of its latest lodge, Bisate Reserve. This new property aims to set the standard in luxury, conservation and exclusivity. It will offer four expansive villas, all in alignment with Wilderness' commitment to promoting conservation tourism in the area.

Canada Roadshow 2024

Visit Rwanda is traveling to Canada for a special evening of education and networking. A group of 10 Rwandan product suppliers will guide attendees through product presentations and destination overviews and feature mesmerizing performances. Rainforest of Nyungwe National Park.

Nyungwe Canopy Walkway

Perched above Nyungwe National Park's ravine, the canopy walkway offers a thrilling view of ancient treetops and wildlife. The suspension bridge stretches approximately 525 feet across and rises 230 feet over the ravine. Accessible via guided tours or designated trails, it highlights the park's biodiversity, boasting countless butterflies, orchids and endemic birds. With 13 primate species calling Nyungwe home, chance encounters are possible. Well-maintained trails lead to the walkway, though they can get muddy, especially after rainfall.

Rwanda Art Museum

Formerly known as the Presidential Palace Museum, this reimagined institution showcases contemporary artworks from Rwanda and beyond while exploring the unique creativity of Rwandan artists across time. Notably, the museum's garden preserves the wreckage of the presidential jet that tragically crashed on April 6, 1994, serving as a poignant historic site. The museum is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is closed on April 7 and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on monthly public service days (called Umuganda), providing visitors with ample opportunity to explore its rich offerings.
