All national parks remain closed to research and tourism to protect the health of our wildlife. Rwanda’s Covid-19 Updates
To mitigate the COVID-19 outbreak, all arriving and departing commercial passenger flights on all airlines, including RwandAir, will be halted at midnight on March 20th, 2020 for an initial 30-day period. Akagera, Nyungwe, Volcanoes and Gishwati-Mukura National Parks have suspended all tourism and research activities. Cancelations/postponement policies have been updated to accommodate travelers impacted during this time.
