There’s nothing like exploring the great outdoors in South Dakota, especially on a bike. Whether you’re an old pro or new to the trails, you’re going to find one that’s exactly your speed. A good place to start is the 109-mile-long George S. Mickelson Trail, stretching from Deadwood in the north to Edgemont in the southwest.
If you need some gear — including bikes — to get started, you can find rentals and outfitters across the state right here.
For more information about biking in the Black Hills, there’s no better resource than the Black Hills Mountain Bike Association.
