Highlighted by the new, 800-room Loews Kansas City Hotel, Downtown KC offers more than 5,000 rooms—2,800 of which are within three blocks of the Kansas City Convention Center.
KC’s transformation continues. Construction on the new single terminal at Kansas City International Airport will wrap up in early 2023, featuring 39 gates and modern amenities.
The KC Streetcar Expansion is also a go with a 7-mile, $351-million extension slated for completion in 2025. This free and convenient transportation option connects the convention district with KC’s most popular entertainment areas.
